Hi! I​'m Blanka and besides, I'm also a Czech illustrator and animator. I studied illustration and graphic design at the Secondary School of Art and Design in Brno and then fell in love with animation at Tomas Bata University in Zlín.

People around me and insignificant everyday stories inspires me the most. I love my asocial brothers, tractors, food, Jean Dubuffet, people in public transport picking their noses, my ridiculous and curvidentate dog and my awkward episodes. Creating my own little films makes me really happy as well as commercial commissions.

I prefer classical techniques such as hand-drawn animation, cut out animation, relief animation and stop motion. I truly enjoy experimenting with different materials, but I still have a thing for my graphic tablet and 2D computer animation.

​

I'm also a proud manager of a very chamber jazz band 'Tři tety'. This means, inter alia, that I can make and post as many gifs, pics and short animations as I want and nobody can stop me.
